Choi made no mention of a specific device, but based on French tech blog GPS&Co’s report, it very well may be the G-Slate that receives the 3D treatment. Supposedly, GPS&Co contacted LG France for more information about the tablet, and an LG spokesman told the site about some of the G-Slate specs, which included a glasses-free 3D display and 3D recording capabilities.
Another point of conflict is whether or not the 3D technology will be glasses free. Despite the fact that the mobile 3D technology that LG previewed at CES was glasses-free 3D, TmoNews reports that an inside source found an accessory listed with the G-Slate titled “3D glasses”.
This adds credence to the speculation that the G-Slate will be the 3D-enabled device that LG will unveil, but raises questions about whether or not that technology will be glasses-free.
