The brand Tekram is quite unfamiliar in the ears of Indonesian users because it’s an American manufacture that specialized in the industrial market, especially on SCSI and cache controller products.
Now, Tekram widespread their line of products with the Android-based tablet PC market by presenting a few models only. Presumably, this is an indication that they were trying to market a tablet computer that started to squirm. VueX VX-70A model that we tried this time comes with a design of a 7 “display.
The tablet that rely solely on WiFi connection makes use of capacitive 7 inch screen with stylus available. 3G connection can also be made possible through an external modem connected via a USB port.
Unfortunately, this tablet computer using a VIA processor, which has slower performance compared to other latest tablet CPU like iPad and Samsung Galaxy Tab for example.
The VueX VX-70A looks a little bit slow when running applications, especially programs that display complex graphics such as 3D gaming.
Test results showing the ability of this product with relatively low performance. Resistive screen that carried also less comfortable to wear, so it’s recommended to use the stylus provided. It seems that Tekram vueX VX-70A prefers to meet the e-reader activity, though a
simple document, the Internet, as well as 2D games are not too heavy.
